About Me

Whether they were the garments of someone special you have lost - or perhaps from your childrens’ first year of life, I can make you a bear to remember and cherish that special person you miss so dearly, or of that special time of your life as a parent that passes so quickly, infancy. I very much enjoy making these bears for my customers. I’d love to make you one!

I’ve been sewing since I was a kid and I still enjoy it today. Back then, I made stuffies, doll clothes and eventually pants, prom dresses, the odd coat and lastly, curtains for my first apartment. It all slowed down once I had children, but I dove back in hard in 2016 with garment making and it still fills my weekends and evenings. I’ve recently, at last, have made pants I actually enjoy wearing!  Huge success.

Anyhow, that’s a bit about me. But before I go I’ll leave you with a photo of me atop the summit of Gros Morne. It was incredibly cold and windy up there. The cold wind was literally breathtaking as was the scenery!! My husband and I traveled to Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland in September of 2023. It was an absolutely stunning trip. I would love to go back soon and do it all over again!
